Grapat - Bowls & Acorns

Designed to stir the imagination and teach fundamental skills, these colorful wooden bowls, acorns and tongs can be played with in a variety of ways. Young children can stack the bowls into a tall tower, sort the colors, categorize the shapes and pieces or create patterns. These play experiences lay the foundation for math concepts. As they explore the colors and shapes, it helps give context to the shapes and colors that make up the world around them. Using the tongs help children practice coordination and the tripod grip, which is needed for holding a pencil or learning how to write.
