Handcrafted in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Uncle Goose makes heirloom quality wooden blocks using sustainable materials from around the Great Lakes. With a playful approach to making educational and fun toys, they’re extremely passionate about being socially and environmentally considerate, which is why they only use fast-growing basswood and non-toxic, child-safe inks. Why such fastidious attention to detail? Uncle Goose has a dream that one hundred years from now, a child will be playing and learning with the same set of heirloom blocks they made today. Their products need to do more than look photogenic: they need to embody what it means to be beautiful, purposeful and sustainable.

This 9 block set features 8 dinosaurs; plus a bonus reptile, the pterodactyl. Two debossed sides feature an ancient reptile’s name, skull, and footprint. Two printed sides reveal an illustration and size. Two more sides show the time period and geographic area.
