One of the largest members of the big cat classification, this precious little Bengal cub has a lot of growing to do! While he or she may not look like it now, Bengal tigers are regarded as one of the most effective and renowned predators on planet Earth! History: Like many other cat species, Bengal tiger cubs are born with their ears and eyes closed, and rely on their mothers for protection and food. They learn how to hunt as early as 2 months old, and actually help hunt by the time they're 5-6 months old. Once they're about 2 to 3 years old, they separate from their mothers entirely and leave the area, ultimately looking for a territory they can lay claim too. Scientific Name: Panthera tigris tigirs Characteristics: Although Bengal tigers are known to be territorial and aggressive, this cute Bengal tiger cub toy is playful and energetic. Size: Standing 2.6 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 1.75 inches tall.
