Thanks to the wonderful feedback we've received from respondents like you, we're thrilled to announce that we are now accepting donations to expand our collection and bring joy to families in our community.
Your input has been invaluable in shaping the growth of our toy library, and we're incredibly grateful for your support. With your help, we can provide a wide variety of toys for children of all ages to enjoy, while also promoting sustainability and reducing waste.
Right now we are offering our Toy Library for Pickup/Drop-off at The Wink House, but we hope to be able to open a community space this summer!
If you have any gently used toys that you would like to donate, we would be thrilled to accept them. Your donations will go a long way in enriching the experiences of children in our community and fostering a culture of sharing and cooperation.
What Can I Donate?
We accept new or used toys, games, puzzles, books, and educational games for children 0 to 8 years old.
Preferred: High-quality, wooden, or natural, Gently used or new
Types of items (not exclusive):
- Art tools
- Musical instruments
- Sensory toys and activities
- Themed sets (i.e. farm with animals)
- Vehicles
- Ride-ons
- Outdoor toys
- Household & Occupational toys
- Nature & Discovery tools
What Should I Avoid?
- Not accepted:
- Broken, damaged, or incomplete items
- Plush toys or stuffed animals/dolls
- Any type of “violent” toys or games. No guns.
- Unnecessarily noisy / sensory-overload toys
- TV/Movie character themes
Brands We Love (Not Exclusive): Hape, Green Toys, PlanToys, B. Toys, eeBoo, HABA, Playmobil, Alex Toys, Learning Resources, Tegu, Begin Again, Melissa & Doug, Fat Brain Toys, Manhattan Toy, Mudpuppy, LEGO, Lakeshore, Bruder, Strider.
To donate, simply drop off your toys at THE WINK HOUSE no later than May 25th.

- TUES: 10am-7pm
- WED-FRI: 10am-5pm
- SAT: 10am-4pm
Can I Sell My Toys To The Toy Library?
While toy donation is our preference, if you have high quality toys that you’re ready to part with but would like to recoup some funds for, we’d be happy to consider purchasing your item(s) from you. Please email sales@whyandwhale.com
Most quality toys that are donated to us will enter into our toy lending library. If we can’t use an item in our library we pass it along by giving away or re-selling toys, at our discretion.
